Michelle Irions - Executive Director

Michelle comes from a rich background in training, training
development and management, human resources,
strategic planning, marketing, IT, and website/social media
creation and management.

Michelle is an Omaha native. She and her husband, Al reside in Omaha and have owned and managed Best of Omaha and Omaha's Choice Award winning band Taxi Driver since 1991. They were also inducted into the Nebraska Music Hall of Fame in 2024.  Michelle fronts the band and first met Chelsea Best, President of Share My Smile through a Smiles for Miles event they played for Share My Smile in 2014.  In 2016, Michelle joined the Board of Directors and soon became Board Vice President.  In 2022, she took on the role of the Executive Director.

Because of her years of traveling with Taxi Driver, Michelle has a love for and a personal connection to communities all over both Iowa and Nebraska which will bring unique opportunities, connections, and awareness to Share My Smile. She has a strong background in volunteering and giving back to the community. Michelle was a team leader for the ConAgra Veterans Network and has donated over 30 years of time and services to organizations such as Susan B. Komen’s Race for the Cure, Light the Night’s Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Share My Smile, SASA Crisis Center, American Heart Association, and YMCA, to name a few.
