Steven Stromp - Board Member
Steve is from central Nebraska, graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. While attending university Steve participated in several international exchange programs in Europe, Russia, and Scandinavia. Steve worked and lived in Central Europe in higher education for 7 years. He finished his MBA from the University of Minnesota and moved to Bulgaria for two years, opening a corporate training and undergraduate education center.
After moving back to Omaha, Steve held roles in Organization Development, management, training, and consulting. His last role was director of development for North America for a new compliance organization out of New York and serves as one of their subject matter experts. Steve now works as a financial crime and regulatory compliance consultant.
Steve has volunteered and worked in the non- and for-profit arenas both here and abroad. While growing up in central Nebraska, Steve’s family had foster children in his home growing up and understands how important foster parents are for developing our community and for developing the individual.
Steve is married with two children. He enjoys learning, experiencing new places, cultures, and people. His personal motto is “wag more and bark less.”
